With Deep K Kailey, artistic director of without SHAPE without FORM, on the Unstruck Melody project.

Unstruck Melody, organised by the artist with Deep K Kailey, artistic director of the UK arts organisation without SHAPE without FORM, explores self-discovery through Sikhi.

The framing is deliberate: to be a Sikh is to be a student, an ongoing spiritual study rather than a static religious belief or the promotion of antiquated doctrine. The name is a direct translation of AnhadShabad, or ShabadGuru — an innate personal sound that can be heard through deep listening.

The show ran 16 September to 15 October 2023, commissioned and created for the London Design Festival at the Victoria and Albert Museum, South Kensington.
